We are looking for a client focused and energetic Technician (colourist) to join our dynamic and creative team across our salons in Australia.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service and ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the client’s experience while also maintaining the professional and vibrant image of TONI&GUY.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending to the needs of all clients
- Consulting clients and advising them of home hair care needs
- Managing day-to-day column in an effective and efficient manner
- Attending formal in-house training sessions as required
- Learning and perfecting new techniques
- Ensuring all clients are attended to while upholding the TONI&GUY brand and guidelines at all times
- Educate clients about the existing services that are available at TONI&GUY
- Provide recommendations for products to clients at the salon
What are we looking for?
- Certificate 3 in hairdressing or the overseas equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in hairdressing
- Profound knowledge of the colour wheel is vital
- Ability to apply hair colour using a number of techniques
- Ability to understand and advise clients on best-suited hair colour/tones
- Impeccable grooming and impressive customer service skills
- Excellent prioritisation skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask between different tasks at hand while working under pressure during busy periods
- You must be passionate about the hairdressing industry and keen to learn from experienced stylists and technicians
- Stay ahead of hairdressing trends and continually striving to grow
- Ability to adapt to different electronic management systems

We are looking for a full-time client focused and energetic 1st & 2nd Year Apprentice (no experience necessary) to join our dynamic and creative team across our salons in Australia.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service and ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the client’s experience while also maintaining the professional and vibrant image of TONI&GUY.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients, providing refreshments and helping to maintain the salon appearance – ensuring the reception area is prepared and presented to the highest standard
- Assisting Stylists and Technicians with client services
- Shampooing and conditioning the client’s hair, applying hair treatments and head massages
- Attending formal in-house training sessions as required
- Assist with completing stock orders and frequently check for product inventory
- Ensuring all clients are attended to while upholding the TONI&GUY brand and guidelines at all times
- Educate clients about the existing services that are available at TONI&GUY
- Provide recommendations for products to clients at the salon
What are we looking for?
- No experience is required, personality is what we want
- Impeccable grooming and an impressive telephone manner
- Excellent prioritisation skills and high attention to detail
