Located down Perth’s trendy lane way Wolf Lane you will find our newly relocated, TONI&GUY Perth Central. Its pristine white surfaces, polished stainless steel and contemporary frosted glass panels form a dramatic contrast with sophisticated high wooden ceilings and original solid jarrah flooring. The minimalist aesthetic enhances the character of the open plan building and creates an edgy, modern salon that reflects TONI&GUYs’ core ideals.
The new location and contemporary design contribute extensively to the salons success within this market. The west end of Perth, established around fashionable King Street, has recently been refurbished. The addition of stylish after-work bars, boutique cafés, galleries and various designer stores catering to both international and local tastes, has attracted a large number of young semi-professionals with an interest in more upmarket trends. This drift has created unique marketing opportunities, such as lane way festivals, that target this specific demographic.
Salon owners Jude and Paul McEwen truly believe that today’s salons should still be a place where you feel relaxed, a place away from the hustle-and-bustle where you feel at home “You should know your hairdresser and enjoy the time you spend with them.”
The upper level of TONI&GUY Perth Central has been reserved entirely for colour. Whilst the lower level is the stylists haven, where bouncy blowdries and edgy cuts are individually designed and styled to suit each unique clients ideal look. The large glass shopfront provides unlimited light flow to disburse over the salon, decreasing the amount of energy required to light the premises. All electrical facilities have also been selected for their energy efficiency as the salon recognises the importance of protecting today’s environment.

FROM THE VERY BEGINNING
Jude and Paul McEwen met in Royal Tunbridge Wells Kent England five years ago, when their eyes meet over the salon floor of TONI&GUY. Their romance, only able to be kept a secret in the salon for a few weeks, resulted in a beautiful wedding 18 months later, where the hair of the guests and wedding party were the focus of the day.
Destined to be a driving force together in the hairdressing world they have followed their dreams of immigrating to Australia and becoming Salon owners.
First falling in love with the country while travelling, they relocated to Sydney in 2007. Having been with the company for over fifteen years each they have gone from strength to strength, sharing the management of running salons in England and Australia. However when the opportunity arose to achieve this great dream, it was perfect timing and a relocation to sunny Perth was in order.
Judith’s love of fashion and obsession with accessories threatens the expansion of their living arrangements as a mountain of handbags takes over their house. Whilst for Paul, turning thirty may have been the end of his aspiration to play professional soccer, he still supports his beloved Spurs and can talk the ear off anyone about most other sports.

I have worked for TONI&GUY for many years and love the atmosphere of the salon and the people. I now balance working freelance as a Make up Artist and Hairdresser, for magazines such as Grazia with work at Chanel 7 but I really enjoy coming back to the salon. Hi my name is Sarah, I have just moved over to Perth from the UK and I am very excited to be part of the team at Perth Central.
I have worked for TONI&GUY for almost nine years, I love the companies constant education, it keeps you well motivated.
My biggest achievement was in 2008 when i obtained my colour specialist degree, this was a huge undertaking and has opened up my approach to colour and given me a greater understanding of all different aspects. My aspirations are to be involved in the salons entry in the Australian hair and fashion awards entry for 2011, to excel in the salon and build loyal happy clients, so can't wait to meet you!
