TONI&GUY Cottesloe is the most recent addition to the TONI&GUY Australia family. Opening just over a year ago, the salons’ ever building clientele continues to expand everyday.
The salon provides an open, minimalistic space, allowing staff to move freely and interact with clients, yet still keeping intimate warmth, allowing each client a relaxed, individual experience.
With an all-girl team of eight, the team works close to create a very friendly, innovative environment within the salon. With an even balance of two technicians, three stylists and two assistants plus the salon coordinator, the
girls are able to work productively throughout the day whilst always striving to be creative and please every client needs to the best of their abilities.
TONI&GUY Cottesloe prides itself on always adapting to new trends and collections to maintain the catwalk to client feel.
Being part of a large group of salons allows our staff to offer an elevated level of knowledge and expertise to create truly great hair. All the stylists and technicians are trained in the company’s ongoing education process teaching a variety
of techniques to the highest of standards. Education and training are constantly offered allowing the team to continuously grow and always learn new things.
The team at TONI&GUY Cottesloe, regularly enter industry photographic competitions and also assist backstage at major TONI&GUY events.

Congratulations to Shelley and Amanda for recently becoming WA State finalists for the Wella Trends Vision. The girls will now be flown to Sydney later in the year to compete in the National finals. stay tuned to see how the girls go.

Congratulations to Shelley Oswald who became a FINALIST for WEST AUSTRALIAN HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR 2010 in the recent Australian Hair Fashion Awards. Although she wasnt the winner on the night, we think her stunning collection is worth a look at!

March 13th- Check out pictures below of the models and hair the team created for the fabulous Be Styled Fashion Walk and Live Window Displays held recently at Westfield Carousel.
March 19th- As part of the recent Fashion Friday event the team created the looks for Australian Fashion Designer Leona Edmiston on show for the ladies luncheon held at the Parmelia Hilton. See our backstage pictures below.
March 29th- Australian Hair Fashion Awards- Salon Owner Shelley Oswald, was nominated for West Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2010. The awards night was held in Sydney at the city Townhall where the winners were announced. Although unsuccessful this is the 2nd year Shelley has been noiminated for this industry recognised award.

After working for TONI&GUY Subiaco for 5 years and having been in the industry for over 13 years, it was time to take the leap and open my own salon! I love coming to work and seeing my staff and my clients and I am really enjoying the new challenges of the different aspects of running my own business. I have travelled this year to Sydney several times for the latest trends, education and training and management seminars. Most recently I was team leader backstage at the TONI&GUY Hair Expo show recreating the hottest editorial looks from the upcoming collection and London Fashion Week which was a great experience.

I made the switch to TONI&GUY Cottesloe team in November 2008 and I’ve never been happier! I recently entered the Wella Trend Vision competition and although unsuccessful, I was very proud to have been selected as part of the judges recognition group as this was the first time I’ve ever entered a competition let alone worked on my own shoot. I love being a part of the TONI&GUY Cottesloe team. We all work really well together and are all really supportive of each other.
Right now I’m looking forward to my upcoming holiday to London and Paris as I’m really going to immerse myself in the culture for inspiration for future photoshoots.

Originally from Cambridge, England, Zoe has been with the Cottesleoe team for a little over a year. Zoe ‘s strength is the ability to adapt the hottest trends in hair for both females and males, such as: The ‘Elektra’ from TONI&GUY’s latest collection FLUX. Suitable for both male and females it gives shorter hair more texture and volume and a sense of identity and style. This look can be exaggerated or softened to create either a stronger or more commercial shape.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland this talented colourist landed on our shores last September and is now sponsored as part of the Cottesloe team. Since arriving in Australia, Caroline has been attending Wella Colour courses to better her work and also assist with Assistant Training in the salon on a weekly basis. “I find that my work has become a lot more creative as with everyday my confidence is growing more and more...”
Keeping up to date on the latest trends and developments in colour, Caroline and the team attend fortnightly Art Team meetings to keep clients interested and full of knowledge on what’s hot and what’s not.
