COSMOPOLITAN FASHION CAFE
As part of "30 Days of Fashion and Beauty" throughout the month of September, TONI&GUY joined forces with Cosmopolitan magazine on Tuesday 15th September as part of the Fashion Cafe down at Circular Quay, Sydney.
From 7am to 5pm, the Fashion Cafe came alive with a sea of shoes and lingerie, coffee and cocktails and makeup to compliment the Free Blowdries provided by TONI&GUY and the team from Parramatta to the public that passed through the tent.
To really bring alive the day, fashion parades were held every hour or so and the fashion spreads of the next issue of Cosmo were taking place to the right of the tent with TONI&GUY providing the hair direction for the shoot.
Overall, consumers left with gorgeous bouncing blowdries and a heavy bag full of goodies.

What are some of yours passions outside work?
Outside of work I enjoy relaxing, shopping and using the gym. I also like to try out new sports like rock climbing, surfing etc…

I’ve been with the company for four years, I started my apprenticeship here.
Three words that best describe your work in the salon?
Pretty! I love doing pretty hair, inventive & new, I love working from our new collections and look forward to their release every year.
What are some of your favourite websites?
I could sit on Etsy.com and Ebay all day long finding interesting one off pieces but I also like to indulge in some retail therapy on ShopBop.com, we all have our weaknesses!

What are some of your passions outside of work?
Outside of work the few passions that I have would have to be spending all my money on the latest fashion trends! Spending quality time with my family and friends and occasionally walking around the bay to make me feel better.

How long have you been with TONI&GUY?
Since 2009, I’ve been hairdressing for four years but have only been with TONI&GUY for two of those years.
What are your strengths when it comes to your clients and salon work?
My strengths being a technician is predominately colour but I have great passion for styling and editorial up styling.
Why did you become a hairdresser?
Growing up in a family of hairdressers I always knew it was what I wanted to do as they where such big influences in my life.

I started my apprenticeship in November 2009.
What is your favourite part about working for TONI&GUY Parramatta?
The training and experiences/opportunities within the company. To set my career up for years to come.
What are some of your strengths in the salon and what attributes do you bring to the salon?
Some of my attributes and strengths are; an amazing scalp massage, building a rapport with clients and making them feel comfortable. I love talking with clients as well, one of the best parts of my job is to build strong client bases whom know they can trust me to make them look and feel fabulous!

I have just started at TONI&GUY and every day gets better and better. The education here is amazing and I can’t wait to see what my future brings here.
What drew you to work for TONI&GUY?
The standard of excellence in hair styling and education is above and beyond anything I have experienced in any other salon, This is the company for which I want to represent my skills as a hairdresser.
What is your favourite hotspot around Parramatta?
I love going to Parramatta stadium because I love football, also sushi bay and Max Brenner in Parramatta Westfields is a favourite place of mine to eat.

This is determined via a regular program of training and testing which is reflected in our pricing structure.
