Originally trained in London, JudeI immigrated to Australia. After managing a TONI&GUY salon in Sydney, she relocated to Perth to open TONI&GUY Perth — a salon that will celebrate 20 years in 2027.
Throughout her career, Jude has continued to push creative boundaries while making an enormous impact on the industry. She has been named WA Hairdresser of the Year five times, won International Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards and collected numerous prestigious international titles.
Education has always been at the heart of Jude’s journey. For five years, she led TONI&GUY’s Breakthrough team, helping shape the next generation of hairdressers and creating opportunities for emerging talent.
For Jude, hairdressing is ultimately about people — solving a problem, helping someone feel better about themselves and creating something meaningful. TONI&GUY has become more than a career; it is family, a community and a place where Jude continues to learn, lead and inspire.
From completed Varder with TONI&GUY London to becoming a salon owner and mentor to future generations on the other side of the world, Jude’s story is a powerful example of where passion, opportunity and a commitment to progress can take you.
ALYSSIA PEARSON
Senior Technician / Assistant Manager
Alyssia Pearson has built an inspiring career at TONI&GUY Broadbeach, combining technical excellence with an unwavering passion for creativity and continual growth. Her journey reflects the opportunities available through TONI&GUY, where dedication and ambition are rewarded with industry-leading experiences.
After completing the prestigious 12-month TONI&GUY Breakthrough Program, Alyssia has progressed into the role of Assistant Manager, while continuing to expand her creative portfolio on both national and international stages. She travelled to Japan to join the TONI&GUY session team at Tokyo Fashion Week, specialised in Showpony Hair Extensions through advanced education, and was selected as a member of the 2025 AHIA Hot Shots Team.
A confident and inspiring educator, Alyssia has presented on stage at the TONI&GUY Conference and continues to develop her presence as an industry leader. Her creative achievements include being crowned the TrendVision Australia Colour Visionary Winner, while her photographic collections have been recognised as finalists in both the prestigious AHFA and AHIA Awards.
Alyssia’s career is a testament to what can be achieved through passion, education and opportunity. As she continues to push creative boundaries and inspire those around her, we’re excited to see the next chapter of her journey unfold.
TORI YARDLEY
APPRENTICE - TECHNICIAN
Tori began her career with TONI&GUY as an apprentice and, in 2026, proudly qualified as a Technician at TONI&GUY Newtown. In a remarkably short time, she has established herself as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging colourists, combining exceptional technical ability with fearless creativity.
Passionate about creative colour, Tori has embraced every opportunity available through TONI&GUY’s world-renowned education programme. From assisting backstage at Australian Fashion Week on Gary Bigeni’s runway show to working alongside the session team at Fashion Week, Maneland and national education events, she has already gained experience many hairdressers aspire to over an entire career.
Her talent and dedication have also been recognised across the industry, winning the AHIA Apprentice of the Year award and becoming an AHFA finalist. Alongside her salon work, Tori has built a strong presence through content creation, sharing inspiring transformations that reflect both her creativity and infectious personality.
Tori’s journey is a perfect example of what’s possible at TONI&GUY when passion meets opportunity. We’re incredibly proud to be part of her story and look forward to supporting the next chapter of what promises to be an extraordinary career.

There are several pathways into hairdressing. Most people begin as an Apprentice Hairdresser, where you’ll earn while you learn, gaining hands-on salon experience alongside nationally recognised training. A Hairdressing Apprenticeship typically takes around three to four years to complete, depending on your experience, progress and training pathway. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll receive practical salon experience, structured education and ongoing mentoring from experienced professionals.
It depends on the role you’re applying for. Some positions, such as apprenticeships, are designed for those with little or no experience, while more senior roles require previous salon experience. Each job advertisement will outline the skills, qualifications and experience required.
