Salon Owner / Art Director
I first arrived in Australia in 1999, at the age of 22 for a three month holiday and I’m still here! I joined TONI&GUY in 1996 and trained originally at London College of Fashion, so I have now officially been hairdressing longer than not… I knew from 7 years old I was going to be a hairdresser, when out of 23 grandchildren my Nan told me we needed a hairdresser in the family. From then it was my destiny and many years on I wouldn’t change it for the world.
When I arrived in Oz I was going to be cool and “work in a bar”, since I had only ever done hairdressing and thought it would be a good change. I landed on a Friday night and by the following Thursday, Dennis Langford had me working in TONI&GUY Pitt Street.
Since then, TONI&GUY Australia has become my family away from home. The opportunities I have had in Australia are beyond comprehension, if I had guessed at 22 where I would be in 15 years time, not even in my wildest dreams would I have imagined what has been possible.
As well as the business side, educating is also a big drive , for many years I was an educator for TONI&GUY Australia which saw me spending a lot of time at the flagship academy in Paddington teaching courses from beginners to advanced hairdressers, also one of the key members of the Australian artistic team for TONI&GUY. The last 4 years has seen me stand down a little for this direction to have my two adorable babies Lily & Freddy !
But with the hair passion never leaving my soul I’m constantly keeping up to date with fashion and education.

She has a love for fashion and constantly changing her look, keeping up to date with all the current trends.
“I chose TONI&GUY because they are the forefront of fashion, and the education is endless …. You can never stop learning” – Emma
Hi, I’m Vicky, I have 10 years experience in hairdressing am driven continuously updating my skill set. I’m a motivated hairdresser and very passionate about hair. I like to excite and inspire my clients, and will create a style easy to maintain. I constantly keep up with the changing trends. I love making people feel beautiful and happy.
I have worked in the industry for 12 years, I moved from Ireland to Australia and decided to set my sights on TONI&GUY simply because of the world class education, global network of hairdressing and brand equity.
I figured the way I work, precision and attention to detail being everything to me, ongoing training and education only lends to this… sometimes it’s the small details that make a big difference.
Making TONI&GUY Bondi Beach my new home, the land of the creative and beautiful I can see the future is bright.

What do you like about hairdressing?
I love that everyday is different, but no matter what my goal is to always make someone feel amazing about themselves. There is no better feeling than seeing my clients walking out of the door with smile on their face!
What inspires you?
Honestly my clients, when I can make a suggestion and together we can come up with a new colour or a slight change. I love to be creative and keep my clients creative with their hair too.

I like to explore, traveling has opened my eyes up to a very large world so even if it’s a trip to the Blue Mountains or just to Sydney CBD if I’m off work I like to have a wonder and get a bit lost.
