From 7am to 5pm, the Fashion Cafe came alive with a sea of shoes and lingerie, coffee and cocktails and makeup to compliment the Free Blowdries provided by TONI&GUY to the public that passed through the tent.

To really bring alive the day, fashion parades were held every hour or so and the fashion spreads of the next issue of Cosmo were taking place to the right of the tent with our very own Matthew Webb providing the hair direction for the shoot.

FLUX and Label.m Collection Launch

On Monday the 10th of November, TONI&GUY staff joined members of the media for the launch of the new Label.m packaging and an introduction to TONI&GUY’s latest collection - Flux.

The event was held at the historic Hyde Park Barracks, inside the onsite restaurant where the media were welcomed by company directors Dennis and Graham Langford who introduced and presented the latest Label.m packaging developments.

Label.m’s Global General Manager, Mr Paul Bullman, fresh off a plane from London, presented Australia with the highly anticipated re-packing of the Label.m product range. With sleek black, white and steel grey, featuring decadent gold-foiled logos, the new packaging surely raised the bar in product presentation, giving Label.m a massive edge in shelf appeal.

At 8pm the media assembled with TONI&GUY staff to be introduced to the latest collection from TONI&GUY - Flux. Partnered with Wella Professionals, they displayed the new salon-exclusive Colour Touch Plus range. The new generation semi-permanent colour was evidently more intense and glossier. The beautiful new shades of golden browns to molten reds married well with the stunning evening dresses that shimmered across the stage.

As the launch came to a close, TONI&GUY Australia Managing Director, Dennis Langford presented the National Assistant Photographic awards to the well-deserving up and coming talents of the Australian team. First year Assistants to fourth year Assistants from salons across the country were congratulated on impressive work created in all categories from cut, colour and blowdry and also open editorial. Congratulations to all winners who clearly demonstrate the future of Australian Hairdressing is in good hands.
