Celebrating TONI&GUY Subiaco's 10th anniversary we have relocated to Hay Street from Rokeby Road in a beautiful landmark building.
The amazing new salon is modern, sophisticated & spacious designed by, Paul Lim who has his own company 'Mata Design' in Perth and has worked with us in designing the 3 WA salons. The use of textures, anodized aluminium, timber, stainless steel, recycled materials creates a comfortable & unique feel in the salon. All glass frontages, two levels providing two different feels in the one-space makes the salon intimate and inviting. Already being talked about around the area the salon is set to become Subiaco’s new landmark.
Some clients like the feel of the 1st floor space being open and more laid back, with great views. It is also used as an area for academy courses & to provide training to both the growing TONI&GUY teams in WA, and also to educate external salons. And then some prefer downstairs feeling more intimate and buzzing. TONI&GUY Subiaco have aimed to meet all the clients’ needs and provide something for everyone. It really is an amazing space!
TONI&GUY Subiaco also have vantage points with the apple TV’s shown around the salon, showing all TONI&GUY visuals of the new collection 'Project 10', up and coming & past events and many more. To also keep clients occupied & happy they have the use of Ipads in the salon whilst having their hair done.
Subiaco is an award winning salon and one of the busiest, most respected salons of the TONI&GUY group. Tracey leads a strong team dedicated to providing the highest standard of hairdressing. The team is continually training to always provide clients with new and exciting ideas, they want to provide clients, both new and current with a new experience that they will love and talk about.

I have been with TONI&GUY for 14yrs. I am extremely excited to be celebrating the Subiaco salons 10th anniversary this year. It has been an amazing journey and i would like to give a huge thankyou to our clients for their continued support & loyalty over the past 10 years and into the future.
I am extremely passionate about my various job roles and about giving back to the industry. Being very involved with educating our own TONI&GUY team members in their progression within their TONI&GUY career path is so rewarding for me, helping & seeing the team reach their goals is fantastic. I am incredibly lucky to have such a talented & dedicated team at Subiaco they really are inspiring. Also being able to share TONI&GUY education & our company's very own product line called label.m education to hairdressers external of TONI&GUY is equally as satisfying.
I go back to London every year to attend the launch of T&G ,s new collection of cut & col techniques.It is really important for us to be able to give our clients the latest trends but to be able to suit it to each individual client is really exciting and motivating.It is also important for us as hairdressers to be continually moving forward and learning new skills and implementing fresh ideas.
Relocating the salon this year to the brand new premises has also been so fantastic it really does look amazing , i feel like a child with a new toy its great! & i cannot wait to welcome everyone to come & give us a visit.

Working at TONI&GUY has been the best career decision that I have made. TONI&GUY has given me the confidence and motivation that I was after and was not getting anywhere else. I have not only grown as a hairdresser I have also grown and matured as a person at TONI&GUY. We truly are a family, not only looking after our own staff but also other hairdressers with the external education that we offer. I enjoy doing external education as it makes me feel fantastic knowing that I have educated and inspired other hairdresser’s at all different levels in their careers.
I have been given so many opportunities working here. One of my most happiest moments was working on stage with some of the best talents that I have ever seen and to be working up there side by side these people I have admired for years.

Teresa Twigg

I have always wanted to work for TONI&GUY all of my career. My biggest achievement in the beginning was going to the Manchester Academy, this was an awesome experience. I received a Merit of Distinction on my diploma. I worked then for TONI&GUY in Nottingham as a Senior Technician for two years.
I then came to Perth Australia and worked for TONI&GUY Central Park. I worked here for five years as a Senior Technician then promoted to Head Technician. My role included stock control, leading other technicians, assistant training, vardering education. I now work in TONI&GUY Subiaco as Head Technician. Here my job role is to look after the education for all three salons including assistant and vardering education, art team and my clients.
I love working for TONI&GUY because I am constantly learning and the education that we have as a company is amazing. It keeps me focused and motivated. Throughout this journey I have learned that I love to teach. Working for TONI&GUY has helped me aspire into this role. It’s a very proud and humbling experience when we vardered a technician or an assistant who passes their technique, watching them grow helps me also.
At the moment I still love what I am doing within my career and look forward to the future with Tracey Laing at TONI&GUY Subiaco.

I joined TONI&GUY Subiaco in February in 2008 as Salon Co-ordinator. I have the privilege of working with the best team anyone could ask for. I meet people from all walks of life on a daily basis and can proudly say that i am part of an international company & global brand.
In March 2010 i attendend the AHFA Awards in Sydney where i was awarded Salon Co-ordinator of the Year. This was such a huge achievement for me as i had come from corporate background into a totally new environment. To be recognised nationally within the hairdressing industry was absolutely amazing.
We have a fantastic clientele at Subiaco. Without them & our talented, creative team our business could not be the success it is today.

I have been with TONI&GUY for 10 years working in the York salon in the UK. I have been in Subiaco for 3 months (fresh off the boat).
My taste in fashion derives from MOD haircuts & clothing including Fred Perry, Ben Sherman etc. Use Paul Weller as an icon and you will not go far wrong...
I like the fact that with TONI&GUY you receive ongoing training which never allows you to get complacent. There is always a new style or technique around the corner.

TONI&GUY is very multi-cultural company. You can pack up your scissors in your old kit bag and work for the same company all over the world.
I have been in Australia for nearly 4 years and worked for TONI&GUY Subiaco just over 2 years now. During that time as a top stylist i have assisted in various fashion shows and i am the assistant trainer in styling. I have been with TONI&GUY for 10 years now.
I love the way fashion is 80s meets 90s at the moment with all the bold colours and textured haircuts. My inspiration comes from Alexa Cheung, she is so versatile with her image and is not scared to step out of the box when it comes to fashion.

I have been working for TONI&GUY for 14 years now, starting as an apprentice in Solihull England. I worked my way up to a style director before leaving England to gain new experiences.
I worked for TONI&GUY in Kuwait before coming to Australia where i was based in Byron Bay, then Sydney before settling here in Perth.
I have always loved working for TONI&GUY for all the opportunities that it can create and the constant education that we receive.
Now i am in Subiaco i am working within an amazing team and enjoying my role as an ambassador for label.m where i get to educate both within the salon and also externally for other salons who use the brand.
Asha Welti
3rd Year Assistant
I joined the TONI&GUY Subiaco team in January 2009 as a first year apprentice. Since then i have attended & helped out with numerous fashion shows such as Fashion Fridays, collection launches and have participated in TONI&GUY photographic competitions.
Each week we are given the privilege of having styling & technical training sessions by the senior members and staff where we have the opportunity to bring our own models and do their hair, following techniques from the TONI&GUY Future Classic Collection. This is the fundamental collection from where we begin our training.
Doing my apprentiship with TONI&GUY its opened up a world of opportunities for me to further my career. TONI&GUY is an educational based company this is known globally for the high standard and quality of work and i am so lucky to have the resources at my finger tips.
I look forward to doing my varder and completing my apprenticeship in the coming months where i will then become a stylist for TONI&GUY.
WA HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR 2009!
In April, TONI&GUY Subiaco salon owner, Tracey Laing, won WA Hairdresser of the Year 2009 in front of hundreds at Sydney's Opera House!
As one of the biggest events on the hairdressing calendar, the hair industry came together to celebrate the up and coming talents and masters of the craft. Tracey was among seven TONI&GUY finalists across the categories and one of two TONI&GUY winners on the night.
The inspriation behind Tracey's award winner collection 'Exhibitionist', was drawn from future trends in hair. Working with different lengths and textures each styled to appeal to a wide variation of personal and individual tastes. Tracey describes her overall vision behind the collection "I wanted to present a collection that portrayed a sexy, feminine look with real strength which is what inspired me to do black and white images."
"The win has really inspired my team, it is great for them to see that this is possible for any one of them as individuals to achieve, if that's their goal."
