A huge congratulations to Sophie Lomas, Head Technician and Andrew Dalbertanson, Artistic Director both from TONI&GUY Mosman who took home GOLD in the Wella Trend Vision 2011 Colour catagory.
Both Sophie and Andy are now off to New York to represent Australia at the International Trend Vision Awards and will also get to view an exclusive preview of the Wella Trend Vision 2012 trends.
In addition to this they will receive a Wella Education package for one year and a fully funded editorial photo shoot for Culture Yearbook!

The Global Launch of TONI&GUY'S 2011-12 Collection ‘Alignment’ took place this week at London’s Battersea Power Station. With more than 5,000 TONI&GUY Hairdressers from across the world attending, it was without a doubt one of the Hair Industry’s biggest events in the social calendar.
The event included looks created by the TONI&GUY team at London Fashion Week; Label.m’s 2012 High Street collection, Alignment; major product updates and of course, the eagerly anticipated Achievers awards celebrating talent across the TONI&GUY team.
Heidi, owner of one of Australia’s most successful TONI&GUY Salons is consistently seen winning awards both nationally and internationally and this launch saw no changes. Heidi beat thousands of stylists across the globe to have her image deemed TONI&GUY’s ‘Image of the Year’. She has proved to be one of Australia’s most talented professionals with her work winning amongst others, Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2009 and 2010.

When salon owner Heidi Pfiffner hand picked her elite team of stylists and technicians she did so with considerable care applying her strong hairdressing background (she literally grew up in her father's UK salon). By her early 20's, Heidi already owned two of her own salons in England. Opening a TONI&GUY salon in stylish Mosman in 1999 proved to be a great move, with the salon growing to be one of the busiest and most highly respected salons in Sydney.

What are your strengths when it comes to clients/salon work?
I think an important strength is being able to adapt to all client personalities well and understand their needs first and then be creative with it.
Where do you gain your inspiration from?
International Cat Walks/Fashion Magazines and the TONI&GUY community Worldwide.
Three words that describe the work you do in the salon?
Classic, contemporary and imaginative.

What are your strengths when it comes to clients/salon work?
I can always recommend a creative fashionable cut to suit the individual and also give advice on easy maintenance techniques.
Three words to describe your personality?
Open-minded, creative and humerous.
What do you love most about working in the salon?
The salon has such a relaxed and comfortable environment which reflects in the overall experience for the clients. Plus my clients always make me laugh which is a nice way to spend the day.

Why did you become a hairdresser?
I felt inspired from an early age and love making someone feel good about themselves because they love their hair.
What do you like most about working for TONI&GUY?
The amazing collections that are created each and every year, and the ongoing professional education they provide is world class.
What inspires you?
Everything from walking to work, to Vogue magazine, to the fabulous team of people I work with each day in the salon.
What products can you not live without?

Why did you become a hairdresser?
Since leaving school I was always cutting my friends hair and willing to experiment with my own hair. I am a very creative person, whether it's art, music or fashion, so hairdressing was an obvious choice to show my creative skills.
What do you like about TONI&GUY?
Toni&Guy is such a great international company with so many job possibilities here and abroad. They have such a great reputation as the most innovative and highly skilled hairdressers, with an amazing ongoing training program for all leveled stylists.
Which product could you not live without?
Label.m Soufflé. It is such a diverse styling and finishing product. Whether using while the hair is wet to create texture, scrunching through curly hair or piecing through straight hair once dry to define pieces and add shine while still being light in the hair. Great for guys and girls!

Ive been working for T&G for the last 16 years starting off at T&G Bournemouth working my way from assistant to art director over this time I have headed many fashion shoots and co-coordinated catwalk shows with major fashion houses such as Karen Millen and department shores like House of Frasier .My portfolio consists of being a Semi finalist of the L’Oreal colour trophy and working back stage at the British Hairdressing awards. And entering the men’s British hairdressing awards .I opened my own franchise of T&G essensuals when I was 25 where I had a successful business for 5 years before deciding I wanted a new start in Australia in 2009. Where I started at T&G Park Street and progressed within the company moving to T&G mosman in July 2010 where I have taken the position of assistant manager where I feel is a very strong creative environment. The constant education and teaching made available was very appealing as well as the opportunities to travel.
Favourite Products?
Label.m Dry Shampoo is a great inbetween washes product that gives hair back its natural body. It can also be used on clean hair to create a voluminous matte-like effect.
Favourite part of working in the salon?
I enjoy being able to interact with clients and workmates all day long. Itt's great to be able to build relationships with clients and when they leave feeling 100% happy you do as well.
Where do you gain your inspiration from?
As I am currently working on my 2nd photoshoot I have enjoyed researching and gaining inspiration from fashion magazines, recent travel experiences, the alternative Mosman school kids that walk past teh salon each day and the past TONI&GUY Collections.
