WELLA TREND VISION IMAGES 2010

THE NEW VINTAGE

The team at Toni and Guy Cottesloe worked collaboratively to create a summery, relaxed beauty collection featuring our interpretation of editorial styles.
As we moved towards the end of our second year of working together we felt a collection involving all the staff would be enjoyable and bring our talents together. We selected a combination of the most unique and intriguing models to create shape and texture with beautiful hair with a simplified Victorian twist.
We wanted to enjoy the simplicity of working with real hair, no wefts, extensions or wigs .Our inspiration came from the latest Toni & Guy Collection, ‘Interactive’, with shape and texture influenced from the Luxe and the Lowe. We created our models looks as a progression from this .The luxe is expensive glamorous and has varied blond tones such as clean vanilla, china white and ice ash but is deconstructed overall ,while the lowe is inspired by Pixie Lowe and full ,soft ,luscious and youthful. We feel the strength in colour will be citrus golds , velvet rose and auburn mineral. The slight whimsical feeling has a Alice in Wonderland, Victorian remix.
There is a glamour and seductive underlying theme . We didn’t want bright colours or crazy clothes to be a distraction, just working with antique lace fabric shirts loose collars and romantic gestures to keep the feel fresh.
